Glad to hear it; after all, I could always be wrong.  On the other hand,
as you say Mesa (XFree86-Mesa-libGL-4.3.0-36) was signed on Oct 6 and
includes /usr/X11R6/lib/tls/libGL.so.1, which would interfere with your
nvidia driver installation (it certainly did with mine).
