Kernel 2.6.0 and Fedora/mkinitrd

I figured out the problem.  I did "make modules && make modules install" 
and then "make bzImage"  The proper way to build the kernel is to just do a 
"make" which must create the dep file that mkinitrd looks for.  As soon as 
I did that the problem went away.
