new issue related to 2.6.0-test4 kernels and nvidia

  for those who are, for personal enlightenment and edification,
keeping up with the latest 2.6.0-test4 kernel, if you have an
NVIDIA chipset and are moving up to bitkeeper version bk8 or bk9,
you'll need to download the new patch to the NVIDIA driver from 
www.minion.de, which deals with the removal of a single symbol
"kdev_val".

  i'm assuming that, if you've been following along until now,
you're already familiar with the procedure to download the 
NVIDIA driver and apply that patch.
