Yep, whenever work is started on the Translucent Window
Extension, it will almost certainly begin in the kdrive server,
as that is Keith's X server experimental development test bed.

For those that don't know what kdrive is, it is an X server that
Keith designed for tiny embedded devices such as the iPaq PDA.
The source code of which is part of XFree86, and if people are
interested in playing with it, the Red Hat XFree86 src.rpm has
special support to build kdrive optionally, by enabling the RPM
macro in the spec file "with_kdrive" and rebuilding. kdrive is
very minimal and requires no configuration.

Hopefully some of you will find this info helpful for something
new to play around with. kdrive is slick. ;o)
