To be fair VIA *do* understand this. They are working to get stuff supported
in open source but released binary drivers in the mean time. There are
still a couple of tricky areas (video playback/macrovision and other
things the MPAA folks get fussy about) but the X server code is now not
just merged but thanks to Egbert as well all nicely polished and meeting
XFree86 policy.
