Mine breaks regardless of ACPI - seems IRQ routing is in general somewhat
hosed on 2.6.2 in RH. acpi=off pci=usepirqmask might help

With APM that tends to depend on the BIOS doing the right thing, or on ACPI
suspend support which I dont know is enabled
