latex2html unable to produce images

Hi folks,

Is anyone using LaTeX2html in FC2-test1?  We use it for our project
documentation (mostly on Red Hat 8/9) and recently tried to build the
same documents on FC2-t1.  The result was a lot of "Error converting
images" messages so I've submitted it to bugzilla:

and have been digging through the latex2html PERL source trying to
figure out what happened.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to track down this bug?
