	I can't see any patch anywhere to resolve that bug. I've a fair idea of
what's causing it but AFAIK no-one has actually fixed it ...

	No, I don't think those bugs are related. *Maybe* the multiload problem
is a side effect of the panel resizing during autohide, but if it is
then its a multiload bug too.
