You mean 1.5.4? In any case, jkatz has reverted it back to 1.4.x for
FC2, due to schedule slippage upstream.

I do not have that fast a connection, so I have not experienced that
much of a slowdown. Does turning off SA help? Is the spamd daemon
started?
