up2date fails after update

Hi folks,

after I rebooted I realized that the up2date tray icon is missing. I
found out that "rhn-applet-gui" seems to be responsible for that, so I
tried to start it by hand and got this error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/rhn-applet-gui", line 30, in ?
    import rhn_applet
  File "/usr/share/rhn/rhn_applet/rhn_applet.py", line 13, in ?
    import gnome.ui
ImportError: /usr/lib/libgnomeui-2.so.0: undefined symbol:
gtk_file_chooser_set_folder_mode

When I try to run up2date I get the same error. What´s wrong?

By the way, is yum an alternative for up2date or just a kind of add-on
to it? This fails as well?

Thanks and Regards,

Chris
