Problems with kernel 2.6.3-2.1.xxx on Toshiba Satelite 5200 laptop

Hi,
i'm new to this list. I have FC2 test1 running on this laptop on a
second partition for a while. Since kernel 2.6.3-2.x i have the
following problems:
1. the CPad is working until Firstboot is running. After this the mouse
does not move and the display is blank. Probably usb Problem (see dmesg)

2. After X started and switching to a textconsole only the upper half of
the font is visible.
there seems to be a problem with the X vesa driver
