I launched the RedHat Alert Notification Tool, which said I had an available update for switchdesk. It said I had switchdesk-3.9.8-18 and switchdesk-4.0.1-1.1 was available. I then click on the button to launch up2date which says your system is fully updated, no new packages are needed. wtfo?? The two statements seem contradictory.
