What is the status of ide-scsi these days ? (Can't shutdown)

What did you mean by:

How should I proceed ?  Do you want me to log this in bugzilla ?  Under
what ?  kernel ? grip ? cdrom ? scsi-ide ?


BTW: I can crash my machine at will with grip.
