Buy a bridge.  A bridge is a really good investment, it may take a long time 
to pay off, but once you own it you can make it a toll bridge and make lots 
of money.

Another option is to buy land on the moon.  It's cheap at the moment, but 
eventually someone will build a moon-base and the prices will increase a lot.
