Zip drive not working

Guys, thanks for your replies and sorry for the delay.

If I manually add an entry to /etc/fstab Zip disks mount automatically
for users:

/dev/hdb4                /media/zip             auto
noauto,user,exec,kudzu 0 0


I can read and write to the disk but it isn't treated correctly, i.e. I
get a floppy disk icon (I got a Zip disk icon on FC2) and doesn't eject
when I right click and select Eject.
