How to Record A DVD?

I used growisofs after failing with cdrecord. No special formatting
needed. It worked great on my DVD+R disc. The DVD has passed
mediacheck. 

This is the FC3T3 DVD, not the older one with the size issue.

I've also gotten some DVD-R discs just now and will experiment with
those plus a different incantation for cdrecord that Paul Horwith kindly
told me about. If I end up with additional good DVD's I'll simply pass
them on to my friends with suitable suggestions.
