FC3-test3 and Kdevelop problems

I am looking for user friendly software development tools for linux.

I started the kdevelop  application included with Fedora 3 test 3.

However, when I attempted to create a project it will not enable to next
button
to allow the project folder to be created.

The only button active in th Create New Project is the cancel button.

I believe I tried this application a few months ago and it seemed to work
then.

Perhaps I have messed something up in the installation.
