Excuse me, but why don't you use Quake 3 Arena

Hi Alex,
Sorry, my bad, I meant Quake 3 Arena, and it is the Linux version that I am having problems with, the 
echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/legacy_va_layout seems to have worked, but there has to be a better way around this.

Excuse me, but why don't you use Quake 3 Arena...native version for Linux ??? 
It's fastest than on Windows !!! Try it !!!
