fc3 smp 1372 succesfully rebuilds with sata support

originally fc3 1372 smp kernel rebuild (adding sata support) resulted in
kernel that aborted during boot with message about missing entry ...
don't know if it was new mkinitrd today ... but have succesfully rebuilt
and booted 1372 smp kernel.

however, fc4/fc5 smp kernels (starting with 13xx) are still having
problems with intermittent process hangs which require reboot to clear.
this is w/dell poweredge 2400, dual 1ghz processors, scsi raid controller.
