Why not go crazy and have some sort of wild CVS thing that dishes out 
source difs so you can spend a spare day recompiling stuff!

Between CVSup RSync P2P portsnap etc. you would have thought someone 
would have the solution 

PS I quite like the BSDs as well as Linux
