install failure rawhide of 2006-02-25 - no kernel installed

Test installation of today's rawhide 2006-02-25....
Two installs fail on a Celeron P-III (Coppermine) machine with a failure
to install a kernel into /boot!

console 3 shows a "kernel package selected" trace, but after all is said
and done, there is no kernel in the /boot partition.
