Install report for development(rawhide) of 2006-07-23 - firstboot fails (sound)

Installed rawhide snapshot of 2006-07-23 (local copy of NCSU mirror)

All goes well except for the firstboot run after the install.

Firstboot fails to load the soundcard detection module and then hangs
forever, requiring a X server abort <c-a-bs> and a three-finger-salute
<c-a-del> to get into normal operations.
