Fedora Test Update Notification
FEDORA-2006-1260
2006-11-29
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Product : Fedora Core 6
Name : kudzu
Version : 1.2.57.5
Release : 1
Summary : The Red Hat Linux hardware probing tool.
Description :
Kudzu is a hardware probing tool run at system boot time to determine
what hardware has been added or removed from the system.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

This update reworks the network configuration algorithm so
it better handles devices with external firmware that may
not be fully available or configurable the first time they
are seen. Additional fixes have been added for USB ACM
modems and Qlogic iSCSI adapters, as well as plugging a fd
leak in the scsi code.

If no new regressions are found, this update will be pushed
final at some point after Monday, December 4.
