/usr in rc1

In FC5 system-config-lvm had the ability to resize ext3 filesystems on the fly. This
no longer seems to be the case in FC6, at least on my system. Not a big deal on my
workstation, but on a server with no downtime windows this may be an issue.

Anyhoo, that's not the main issue. I rebooted into single user mode to resize the
fs. Trying to unmount /usr complains that the device is busy, even though fuser
doesn't show anything hanging onto it. I was able to resize the LV and resize2fs
noted that the fs was mounted but continued.

"fuser -m /usr" shows the PID of /bin/sh, but nothing pointing to /usr. The question
is,
in single user mode, why is sh holding on to /usr?
