gnome-mount -d /dev/fd0 does nothing to mount floppies

This looks like a new bug. If you will browse what is under
"Computer" icon on your desktop then floppy is no longer there.
Right? Hence gnome-mount has no chance to find it. Anybody
with an idea which component fails here? hal? gnome-vfs?
Trying the command above from the root account I see now:
(gnome-mount:7073): Bonobo-CRITICAL **: bonobo_object_unref:
assertion `BONOBO_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
If non-root then it just prints its version (nobody knows what for)
and silently fails. Adding '-v' does not change anything.
