Perl won't update

I think this problem is due to an older version of yum not doing the
right thing, so the dependencies didn't get pulled in right, and now
the new more correct yum sees the rpm error and bails out. 

Ie, it's an existing condition from a previous (now fixed) yum bug. 

At least thats my understanding. 

If anyone seeing this could go add comments to that bug we can have the
info needed to make sure thats whats really happening.
