f8 won't install - sata problems

I'm putting together a brand new machine with an abit ip35 pro mb and 3 sata
drives.

It takes a VERY long time before graphics screen comes up.  Lots of messages
about ATA, resetting in 5 seconds, etc.

I noticed is said disabling interrupt 19.

I also noticed that it (eventually) finds my hard drives, and they seem to
be on interrupt 19.  Coincidence.


When I finally get to the partitioning screen, it says "No drives found"

Any ideas?
