I don't have an updates-released, though I do have updates and 
update-testing:

As you can see, updates is enabled.
Unfortunately:
[root at potoroo ~]# yum --enable=updates-testing list available
Loading "refresh-updatesd" plugin
removing mirrorlist with no valid mirrors: 
//var/cache/yum/updates-testing/mirrorlist.txt
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository:

[root at potoroo ~]#

I've tried "yum clean {metadata,dbcache}" to no avail.
