If I disable yum-updatesd from running when I run yum it says:
Unable to send message to yum-updatesd.
Shouldn't it be able to look at /var/lock/subsys/yum-updatesd and decide if
it is running and if not don't complain?
I decided to turn it off since I am always running yum anyway and it uses a
lot of memory and seems to run when I want to do other things.
I wish it was a little more friendly or would look and see what the load is
on the system and maybe wait a while.
Thanks,
Jerry Williams
