No, you are not the only one. But bug reports with non-fedora stuff 
might get low priority. And I think the X/graphics guys are very busy at 
the moment.

FWIW I have the following open radeon-related bugs which might be 
related to your problem:
Bug 465760 - modeset kernel: [drm:radeon_mem_init_heap] *ERROR* heap 
already initialized?
Bug 468393 - glxgears can't be hidden when Desktop Effects are enabled
Bug 467429 - Resume on radeon doesn't work with modeset in runlevel 3
Bug 468975 - System hanging on (II) RADEON(0): [RESUME] Attempting to 
re-init Radeon hardware.
