Sound and F10 release

The Problem is that we need some sort of offical policy on what to do when 
sound works with plain alsa but not with pulseaudio. In that case blaming 
pulseaudio results in a "it's really the alsa drivers that are the problem" 
response but you can't really blame it on alsa because using just plain 
alsa works fine.

It's obvious that the specific interaction between pulseaudio and alsa is 
the problem in these cases but if neither of the stakeholders feel 
particular responsible for addressing the issue then I don't see how this 
will ever get resolved.
