I can't count the number of times my usblive overlay has ran out of space
(starts with increasing numbers of ext3 errors at boot), requiring me to set
it back up again. Even a "huge" 8GB overlay doesn't last as long as you
would think it should. One thing I was very glad to see in F10live is that
it now has /var/cache/yum in tmpfs, which extends the life by quite a bit.

As long as we're not using a proper unionfs for persistence that *doesn't
die*, shouldn't there be an easier way to determine how much life is left in
the LVM snapshot before a reset is necessary?
