I always specify ssmtp in this case within the .ks file. I use it for
olpc related stuff and everything else. It doesn't do a lot of things
like aliases or anything else but it gets past the issue in about 50K
so I've long stopped caring. I've long had the bug below open since it
changed.

There's a similar situation with perl within the defaults as well. I
need to review the recent syslinux change with that and file bugs :)
