Starting from todays rawhide push (assuming there are no other glitches 
that prevent it from happening :) you should be able to get around this 
with just 'yum update rpm' as db4 and rpm itself have been rebuilt with 
md5 digests so the F11 alpha rpm can update them.

Yes it's un ugly an unfortunate mess but there's no helping it after the 
fact :-/
