ldconfig /lib64/libmultipath.so is truncated

Hi,

>From the last week when a try to update any library the update process
always throws this message:
...
  /sbin/ldconfig: file /lib64/libmultipath.so;4b7bed82 is truncated
...

And seems that the OS is not able no find some libraries: bug 528583

Any idea how can be this be solved.

Using: Fedora 12 with the latest updates applied.
