f13 yum update error on gupnp

Just tried to do an update, got this:

Transaction Check Error:
  file /usr/lib64/girepository-1.0/GUPnP-1.0.typelib from install of gupnp-0.13.3-4.fc13.x86_64 conflicts with file from package gir-repository-0.6.5-6.fc13.x86_64

worked OK with --exclude='gupnp*' added to command line.

Is this a bug in gir-repository or gupnp?

Also I've noticed that my f13 system never seems to expire metadata.
I always have to do a "yum clean metadata" and then run "yum update"
or it keeps telling me there are no updates.
