gnome-terminal + mc = crash

most of the time on instaled f14 rc3 and updated, if i press <f3> or <f4>
while in mc to edit or view a text file, gnome-terminal dissapears, taking
mc with it. is this an known bug?

to test more, i've opened four terminals, and in one of them i've started
mc, then <f3> on a text file, then all four terminals dissapeared.

but, it's not happening always.
