 It's not a bug, it's a feature. :)

 The desktop team is doing this on purpose, the F13 live spins will be 1GB
 and targeted at USB sticks and DVDs. I believe there may be an intention
 to also do CD-sized images, but the 'main' live spins will be 1GB.
