Actually, I'd caught that typo after sending. (The type was in .mailcap.)
However, that didn't work.

Ahh--that was it. I knew that too, it's on my own, moderately popular,
mutt page. I imagine that as you suggest, on F12, where I had a great
deal more installed than I do on machine in question, there was
another entry somewhere that had it correctly.
