64 bit RC DVD won't boot on Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P Core Duo

After reset, the computer reads some data from
the DVD but does not boot from it.

The 32 bit RC DVD boots and installs normally.
The 64 bit RC DVD does boot on an AMD system.
