how to debug NetworkManager ?

no, the modem is connecting through dsl to the isp, i'm on the dhcp side of
the moon :)

Look at your nm config data (find your DSL interface ...):

this gives no default route, unless i run dhclient by hand ...
so that's the problem, nm does not set the default route .

everything else seems to be ok: i have dns, and i can ping thw gateway.
