Judging from the forums, hplip might be broken. I've not been able to
consistently prove that--in my experience, it would sometimes work,
other times, it would print but not scan. In each case, when I removed
it and then installed from source, at hplipopensource.com (using the
manual install with tarball, not the wizard), it would work.

(I might have had to do hp-setup -i <ip_address>, it's been awhile.)

I wasn't able to reproduce the problem consistently, so haven't filed a
bug, but I have noticed, as mentioned, that others on Fedora forums have
had similar experiences.

Willow: I just talked to Buffy, and yeah, I think she's feeling a
little... insane. No, not bitchy crazy, more like homicidal
maniac crazy. So I told her to come see you, 'kay?
