Please test basic video driver in 14 Beta TC1

I've reported

for 14 Beta TC1. After booting using basic video driver, stage2 sometimes
doesn't come up. In KVM, there is just a black screen. I tested in 3 different
bare metal boxes, getting 3 different results - black screen, normal, text mode.
This is an Alpha level test so is certainly a Beta blocker. It's an easy
nondestructive test since it's only necessary to boot from the disc in basic
video mode and see what happens when stage2 is supposed to come up.
