 created a test case:
 https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_base_startup . This actually
 also covers boot-to-text, as I re-considered merging that into the
 'install-in-text-mode' case. It seems better to have consistent
 demarcation between the 'install' and 'base' test cases. This is another
 one for the 'base' matrix I'm thinking up.
