Yet, it was still negative karma. What's the harm of turning off 
auto-push when an authenticated negative karma is received?

It should /not/ be too late if negative karma is received after bodhi 
says it will push. The push hasn't occurred yet so when bodhi is /doing/ 
the push it can see negative karma has been left.
