After most recent F15 updates, gnome-shell does no more display all menu icons

Yeah - a lot of stuff is screwed up at the moment. Control Center 
crashes when trying to get in to change the background and a whole heap 
of graphics and icons are missing. Pretty ugly stuff right now.
