f15 test-day-2 gnome3-shell install: liveusb-creator does not start dbus.exceptions.... "The name org.freedesktop.Hal was not provided by any .service files"

I installed liveusb-creator -3.9.3-2.fc15 (noarch) in a fully updated 
(03/24/2011)  f15 test-day-[1] gnome3[2] install with Add/Remove Software.

liveusb-creator does not start from either gnome3-shell or terminal.
When called from  terminal:    dbus.exceptions.... "The name 
org.freedesktop.Hal was not provided by any .service files"

Installed with use whole disk option

 Gnome Version 2.91.92
 Intel Atom CPU N450 @ 1.66 GHz x 2

 forced fallback Mode off
