GNOME 3 Failed to Load

On the first login after installation of F15 TC1 a screen comes up 
telling me, that "GNOME 3 Failed to Load".

During the installation I that the step "Detecting hardware" takes a 
very long time and is done twice. Could this be related?

Is this of interest and if so, what information is needed to report.
