Fonts beauty is in the eye of the beholder, besides being a complex subject. 
RedHat's philosophy regarding patents and licensing is different from 
Canonical's as well, and apparently part of the difference running live 
images. A question remains, did or does Fedora equip you to make 
post-installation changes to get results you can be pleased with, or can't 
you get there at all?

Until and unless Fedora matches up to *buntu's defaults, make sure any demos 
you make trying to persuade that Fedora is better are made using the highest 
DPI display you can muster. ;-)
