Comment (by adamwill):

So I edited the wiki page a bit and hopefully improved it somewhat.

We should turn the suggested tests into small individual test cases and
create a results table; also add any more test cases that seem
 appropriate.

I'm a reasonably savvy person but I still don't feel really confident
following the instructions that are there; one major issue I can see is
one that will probably affect many people. I have a router, with quite a
few systems behind it - so what do I do? Should I try and set up the
router to use the tunnel somehow? Or can I just run the tunnel setup
script on one system behind my router and it will work? It would help a
lot if the instructions could make this clear.
